This exhibition features approximately 140 Ukiyo-e paintings, caricatures, and Otsu-e prints from the collection of Suiho Tagawa, the creator of the manga "Norakuro". It aims to explore the comical expressions of the painters who lived in the period of changes, from the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate to the Meiji era, and the thoughts of the audience who enjoyed them.
