Chirashi-gaki or writing in an irregular hand is a style that evolved from the Japanese perception of beauty. Enjoy the delicate expressions of Japanese calligraphy woven by artistic lines and spaces. *Some work will be changed during the exhibition period.
Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.

From Hakodate Station on the JR Hakodate Main line, take the Hakodate bus and get off at Goryokaku Koen Iriguchi. The venue is 3 minute walk from there.
