The picture scroll “Chosekiankyo (Daily Life of the Common People in Downtown of the Meiji Period)” is one of Kiyokata’s masterpieces. It shows us the good old summer days Kiyokata loved. This exhibition focuses on “Chosekiankyo” to make you familiar with daily life in summer of the Meiji period.
