The Ashiya City Museum of Art and History holds a large collection of works by artists who belonged to the Gutai Art Association (Gutai), formed in Ashiya in 1954. This special feature exhibits approximately 45 works by Gutai artists from the museum's collection, along with materials from that time, to introduce the period of Gutai until its dissolution in 1972.
