Yoshitoshi Tsukioka et al.
Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (1839-92), a leading ukiyo-e artist of the late Edo and Meiji periods, is known for historical-themed works. This exhibition showcases Tsukioka's depictions of history, from the Meiji government's perspective to literary-inspired fantasies. The show also includes works by the artist's disciples and other artists reflecting Yoshitoshi's influence and a new artistic era.
