Samehoshi
Samehoshi, born in Kyoto Prefecture and a graduate of Musashino Art University's oil painting department, portrays girls who undergo irreversible transformations with acrylic paints and pens, collapsing and regenerating. Their unique worldview constructs intricate lines and delicate colors intertwining on the canvas. Samehoshi has also created numerous works for book covers, CD jackets, and more.

In this exhibition, Samehoshi explores the theme of "something like a girl," questioning what happens if this something fails to become a girl during the transformation process, and creates paintings based on this inquiry. Witness the transformation of resilient and beautiful creatures that regenerate no matter how many times they are destroyed.
