Soco1010 is pleased to present a screening event for “Second Three-Year Plan (2024-2026)— Film Collection 54-56” by filmmaker Kiyoshiro Tachikawa. This event marks the seventh installment of the “Second Three-Year Plan,” which commenced operations in January 2024. It features a single-screen screening of 16 new works. As an example of work consumption, the artist himself will simultaneously utilize a small computer and electronic instruments to attempt an improvised reconstruction of past works. Additionally, the venue will sell the screened works and past works by weight at a rate of “1GB = ¥10,000.” The “Second Three-Year Plan” is a system designed to build and operate the cycle of “Production → Release → Distribution → Consumption.” Witnessing the sequence of screening → sales → work reconstruction at the venue reveals the system’s full scope. We invite you to experience the continuously evolving “Second Three-Year Plan.”
