Taking advantage of the uniqueness of Setagaya City, where an unparalleled number of artists reside, the Center promotes surveys, research, and collecting of works by resident artists, and holds unique exhibitions. The Museum also introduces a wide range of artistic movements in modern and contemporary art, architecture, design, and other fields from its own unique perspective, while interacting with art museums in Japan and abroad.
