The Suntory Museum of Art relocated from Akasaka Mitsuke to Tokyo Midtown in 2007, and reopened in 2020 after undergoing renovation. The Suntory Museum of Art has inherited the philosophy of "beauty in daily life" since its opening in 1961, and has adopted the museum message of "Connecting beauty. Open ing beauty.”

The design by architect Kengo Kuma is a fusion of "traditional" and "modern", creating a comfortable space with the comfort of an urban living room.

There is also a tea ceremony room and a shop/cafe where visitors can relax after the exhibition.

The shop×cafe is open on all days except for the year-end and New Year holidays and Tuesdays during the exhibition period.
