DDD was established in Osaka by Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. in 1991, as a base for the company’s cultural activities in the Kansai area. In 2014, DDD moved to Kyoto, the birthplace of the unique Japanese style of design, where the past and present cultures intersect.
What is the future of design, and what should it be like? Kyoto DDD Gallery seeks to expand the boundaries between graphic design and art by reading the new era trends and discovering new forms of creativity through exchange and dialogue.
