FAIR: Fuwari no Mori International Artist in Residence, Narita

In the fall of 2014, Narita International Airport became the base for Narita's first contemporary art project, "Fuwari no Mori". The project will be centered on the "Fuwari no Mori" land art project created by internationally renowned Narita artist Yusuke Shimura. This is a land art project that will transform the Narita forest into a forest of contemporary art by connecting it to Japan's largest international airport. By creating a forest of art, the project will create a place where people can come from the airport to stay in Narita and experience the latest work of artists and the Japanese landscape through the art projects that will be developed there.
