Art Gallery Kan

Opened in 1976 the gallery seeks, as its name suggests, to "connect people through art works". After relocating a few times, it has moved to its current space in Nihombashi Muromachi in 2001. The gallery not only presents artists who are by now well established, such as those related to the the Zen-ei Bijutsukai, but recently it has been concentrating its efforts on discovering, supporting and presenting works by artists of a younger generation. The gallery website includes information about such artists and their current activities.
