1223 Gendaikaiga - Contemporary Painting Collection -

“1223 Gendaikaiga”, a collection of contemporary paintings focusing primarily on Japanese works, hopes to be a venue where people can easily drop by over the course of their daily lives to enjoy paintings and photos. Four exhibitions are expected to be launched each year with 10 to 15 works displayed at each exhibition. These works are mainly selected from private collections. We will make efforts to enable viewers to experience comfort and enjoyment during their day, even for just a short time. It will be our pleasure to provide visitors with the opportunity to get to know painters and photographers by becoming a space where you can not only share perceptions, but also discover a brand new feeling through the exhibitions.
