NOKOGIRI was opened in April 2022, in Shibuya, Tokyo. It focuses on the work of contemporary ceramic artists.
This is a room in a vintage building that is located in front of a junior high school. The gallery is made up of birdsong, the sound of trains in the distance, and light streaming in through the windows. Taking form out of the soul and presenting it. We aim to create a place where individuals can play with humor, where time slips, and, where broken goods that can’t be discarded, all traverse to create a space that endlessly lets the imagination flow.
