poster for 47 Rental Store

Ends in 20 days

Loftwork and d47 Museum have collaborated to create the ‘Molt Project’, a growth program to help craftspeople “molt”. This exhibition is based on the theme of “communication born from rental”, which is the core of the project.

Since its opening in 2012, d47 Museum has introduced the individuality of each of the 47 prefectures through a variety of themes such as “travel,” “craft artists,” “future lifestyle,” “repair and care,” and “fermentation”. The 28th exhibition, “47 Rental Store,” is the result of the “Molt Project,” a joint project between Loftwork and d47 Museum.

Based on the theme of “communication born from rental,” the exhibition allows visitors to experience and purchase “goods” and “services” from 47 prefectures. Through the act of renting, visitors will be able to experience the exhibits and send their voices to the creators. The exhibitors, who are the creators of the products, will be able to receive live feedback that will lead to the discovery of new possibilities and improvements.
