Weissfeld started its history in 2003 at Roppongi Complex, and due to the renovation of the building, they will move to Bakuro-cho and open a new space named 'Radi-um'. To celebrate the memory of Weissfeld, the gallery will be holding a closing party "Force Quit."
Since 2003, the Roppongi Complex has been a pioneer of "'Roppongi Art Triangle" together with the Mori Art Museum, which opened at nearly the same timing.
As you know, contemporary art in Tokyo is tremendously developing nowadays. The galleries occupied the Roppongi Complex will continue to be the core of Japanese contemporary art at their new locations. The purpose of the closing party "Force Quit" is not only to cherish the past memories but also to announce that the gallery will take large steps to the future.
Guests: DJ Oyakata (Gemba Tokio), DJ Wataru (Gemba Tokio), DJ Wasaburo (axolotl / actiondirecte(c)), and more.
