Art Gallery Yamate

Art Gallery Yamate would like to be a place where artists and the local community can share their works of art, regardless of genre, such as painting, photography, calligraphy, ceramics, and other handicrafts. We hold special exhibitions several times a year, and we are always thinking of something that people who have never been to an art gallery can enjoy. The gallery is located on Yado-zaka (a slope leading to Minato-no-Mieru-Oka Park), and from the window you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons- Yokohama’s Marine Tower, cherry blossom trees in spring, fireworks in summer, and the red leaves in autumn. The gallery is located in an exotic setting with the trees of Mount France in front of it and Western-style buildings on the slope, Motomachi shopping street, and Chinatown further down the slope, which we believe will satisfy our guests and the artists who host exhibitions.
