Hoki Museum

Hoki Museum of Art opened in November 2010 in Midori-ku, Chiba City, as an art museum specializing in realistic paintings.

The museum constantly exhibits about 130 works by about 70 contemporary realistic artists, including 36 works from the veteran Sosuke Morimoto Collection, Hiroshi Noda's large landscape painting "Shinsennuma," and young artist Kei Mieno.
In May and November, the exhibition changes to showcase work based on a theme.

In addition, the Hoki Grand Prize Exhibition is held once every three years. The Hoki Platinum Grand Prize Exhibition is also held.

The building, which has one floor above ground and two below, is also unique and attracts many visitors from the field of architecture.
