Showa Museum

Showa Art Museum was opened in May 1978 near Yagoto, southeast of Nagoya, to preserve, study, and exhibit the calligraphy and tea ceremony utensils collected over the years by the museum's founder, Kozo Goto. The museum's collection consists of approximately 800 items, including four Important Cultural Properties, of which 80% are tea ceremony-related items.
