The Endeavors of Taro Okamoto
Ends in 53 days
Taro Okamoto endeavored to create a new kind of art against the backdrop of postwar Japanese painting and society, which he viewed as old-fashioned. His creations ranged from painting to sculpture, furniture, products, and public art, including his massive monument “Tower of the Sun.” His message of how to live still resonates today.
