Move on Asia 2006 "Conflict and Networking"

This is a travelling exhibition of 21 young video artists recommended by curators from 12 art spaces in 6 Asian countries, and following its presentation at the Loop art space in Korea, it will go on to show in Japan, China, Australia and Singapore. The works on show consider the political-economic-cultural block that is Asia, and regardless of genre, they are sensitive and level-headed in their direct observation of the present reality of the region.
Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya is very happy to be able to introduce the video work of these artists, who are increasingly drawing attention for their activities in their respective regions and field. This is the second "Move on Asia" exhibition to be held at this venue, allowing people to network and build up contacts. This exhibition aims to foster a strengthening and broadening of information & opinion-sharing between people.
