Today's "design" tends to require showiness or special technical features. Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa express their doubts about such trends with the theme, "Super Normal - Transcending the Usual." When something is so normal that we are unaware of its design, we often feel quite attached to it, so much so that we cannot bear to part with it. Things have their ideal forms into which they inevitably settle. Super Normal design is born of that concept.
