Aiming to investigate expression in print form, this is the second year of the Graphic Trial Exhibition. This year as well, taking "off-set" as the theme, four graphic designers' works and their process of making are being introduced.
Katsuhiko Shibutani, Kazunari Hattori, Maomi Hirabayashi, and Masahiro Aoyanagi worked with a printing director for three months to explore their ideas. Their experiments are presented on five posters each: Shibutani's concept of "expanding white", Hattori's "layered lines of CMYK", Hirabayashi's "Pop Art with off-set" and Aoyanagi's "shapes and colors composed by layering".
