Rebecca U was born in 1988 in Melbourne, Australia and currently lives and works in Tokyo. “Silver Screen” is an exposure of beauty in the blemish, the acceptance of life and death through the documentation of life in Tokyo before 2015. Capturing the people and moments, Rebecca U builds her own narrative, presented here in her first solo exhibition in Tokyo, exhibited in a gallery located in a traditional Japanese tatami room from the 1920’s.
