Keiichiro Goto
Keiichiro Goto (1918–2004) was a Nagoya-based photographer inclined toward Surrealism who changed both subject matter and styles over the course of his career, but steadfastly pursued avant-garde expressions. In the Postwar era he joined the Japan Subjectivism Photography Affiliation along with Shuzo Takiguchi and poet/photographer Kansuke Yamamoto. This exhibition features Goto’s vintage pre and postwar photographs as well as new prints of Subjective Photography works he shot on film.
