Amano entered anime production company Tatsunoko Pro at the age of 15 and was involved with the character design of productions such as the ‘Time Bokan’ series and ‘Kagaku Ninja-tai Gacchaman’. After going independent, Amano became renown for his character design work on ‘Vampire Hunter D’ and the ‘Final Fantasy’ series. In the late 90s, Amano transitioned to fine art with exhibitions at Contemporary Art Museum Kumamoto and overseas in New York and China. For this exhibition, Amano is focusing on spring and depictions of the changing seasons and times.
