In commemoration of the 5th anniversary of sister city-hood between Chigasaki and Honolulu, this exhibition features the Aloha shirt collection of Toru Kobayashi, director of Aloha shirt label Sun Surf. This exhibition introduces the history of Hawaiian shirts and their deep tie to Japanese culture and Japanese people while showcasing rare vintage Aloha shirts from the 1930s through the 1950s.
Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.

8 minute walk from the South exit of Chigasaki Station on the JR Sagami and Tokaido lines; From the South exit of JR Chigasaki Station, take the Community-Eboshi bus and get off at Toshokan-mae. The venue is 3 minute walk from there.
