Ryuichi Ishikawa + Nana Mori "A Grand Moment"

The 5th Floor (Hanazono Alley)
Finished

Artists

Ryuichi Ishikawa, Nana Mori
This exhibition is the first in a series of joint projects that will introduce work the artists describe as the starting point of their activities and explore the relationship between the unique perspectives of the two artists.

The two artists, who have consistently maintained an earnest attitude toward "living," have chosen completely different methods of expression, namely photography and calligraphy, but there seems to be a connection between their expressions.

Ishikawa will exhibit photographs from his “A Grand Polyphony" series, which he describes as the starting point of his career, and Mori will exhibit calligraphic works, which she describes as "moment" and the core of her own expression.

We hope that you will share with us the moment when the two artists' activities, which have been developed separately until now, intersect for the first time - A Grand Moment - and feel the very essence of life itself.
