3331 Arts Chiyoda opened in 2010 as an alternative art center open to the community and will close its doors on March 31, 2023. The Great East Japan Earthquake struck shortly after its opening, and the year 2023, when 3331 Arts Chiyoda is about to close its doors, has been a strange 12 years in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While adapting to social conditions as a cultural facility for a new era, what role did 3331 Arts Chiyoda play in the community, in daily life, and in the field of culture and the arts as one of Chiyoda City's centers of cultural transmission? This exhibition will be an attempt to look back on 3331 Arts Chiyoda's activities over the past 12 years and to highlight the diverse activities of the museum, which has deviated from art, opened up to the city, and continued to grow.
