Under the key phrase of “provoke, high beam, ☆☆☆☆," two artists Ahn Taewon and Lee Hyunwoo, who live and work in Seoul, Korea, will be introduced.
The title "Provoke, High beam, ☆☆☆☆" is inspired by the intersection of the real world and other worlds (Internet/the everlasting world), which is the two artists' nature.
The exhibition includes a large sculpture by Lee Hyunwoo, whose concept is the objectification of the natural environment, as well as two-dimensional and three-dimensional works by Ahn Taewon, whose motif is his beloved cat, based on the unnatural but strangely satisfying feeling one gets when an Internet meme is incorporated into the real world.
