Alex Dodge
Alex Dodge is based in Brooklyn, New York, and Tokyo. He creates canvas works using a unique method of designing three-dimensional images with 3D modeling, pressing oil paint onto the canvas with laser-cut stencils. His works, which blend digital tools with classical techniques, traverse the virtual and physical worlds.
This exhibition is divided into two parts, with the exhibition at Tsutaya Books Ginza serving as Part 2 following the exhibition at Maki Fine Arts. Under the common theme of "The Connectivity of Language and AI," the artist will exhibit new works created while anticipating and contemplating the near and distant future, along with a series of past works using acrylic on paper.
During the exhibition period, a collection featuring all 29 exhibited works from both venues will be available for sale at this venue, and a signing event by the artist will be held on April 26th (Friday).
