Yugo Kohrogi
Artist-in-Residence Saitama presents an open studio for Yugo Kohrogi’s Living Collection. The artist-in-residence program invites artists to spend time in a local community, creating work and connecting with residents. This year, two artists or groups are based in Kita-Urawa. From mid-October, Yugo Kohrogi will spend approximately one month in residence, creating paintings informed by portraits of local residents and research into works in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama. Visitors are welcome to drop by the studio during the open days to see the artist’s process and works in progress.
