Chisato Tanaka
We are pleased to announce "Works for Film", a solo exhibition by Chisato Tanaka, opening Friday 6 November. Tanaka created the paintings that appear in the feature film "Otoko Tomodachi" (dir. Yukiko Mishima, starring Mayu Matsuoka and Ryo Narita), released in Japanese cinemas the same day. Working closely with the director, cast and crew, she painted works that reflect the memories and emotions of the characters, and coached the actors in painting. The exhibition presents the oil paintings made for the film, together with watercolors and illustrations.
