Harvey Chan
Life / AFTER LIFE presents a compelling selection of figurative works by Harvey Chan that explores the enduring dialogue between observation and interpretation. Rooted in life drawing sessions with live models, these works extend beyond the immediacy of direct observation.
The exhibition reflects an artistic practice that values both careful observation and the transformative potential of memory. Together, these works invite viewers to dwell in the space between what is seen and what is felt, suggesting that the deepest truths of figurative drawing are not always found in the initial act of observation, but often emerge through reflection, when the artist’s gaze turns inward.
