Society has made progress in returning to its pre-pandemic routines, with renewed interactions, gatherings, and mobility. However, just as glimpses of normalcy began to emerge, a fresh calamity left its mark on our collective memory. Such events remind us of the fragility of everyday life and how new experiences can overshadow memories. In various ways, daily existence may simply be this cycle repeating itself.
In this exhibition, six artists explore the repetition of daily life through works that prompt us to reflect on the mundane from diverse angles. They delve into overlooked moments, collaborations with others, the recording of daily memories, and ordinary scenes that bring comfort. Each artist offers insights into the lives of others, adding value to our familiar surroundings and enriching our everyday experiences.
This artwork highlights the importance of connection and community, which have been strained by various challenges. Daily routines are intertwined with relationships with others and society, shaping and influencing each other. Through these pieces, people are encouraged to feel the presence of others and reconsider their connections to society, shedding new light on the everyday.
