Isamu Noguchi, Geoffrey Bawa
Bundlestudio presents Isamu Noguchi and Geoffrey Bawa: Light and Form Across Borders at Bundle Gallery from November 11 to 23, 2026.
Sculptor Isamu Noguchi and architect Geoffrey Bawa worked across different disciplines and cultural contexts, continually questioning established boundaries. From Noguchi’s Akari lamps to Bawa’s architecture rooted in Sri Lanka’s tropical landscape, both explored how light, form and nature shape the spaces we inhabit.
Set in a 1974 residence designed by architect Ren Shinrai, the exhibition brings together furniture and lighting by both designers, exploring the connections between sculpture and architecture, art and everyday life. Through this encounter, their works invite new perspectives on how creative ideas cross cultural boundaries and resonate across time.
