James Isherwood
This will be the first-ever Japanese exhibition of artwork by James Isherwood, an American artist based in New York. Isherwood’s paintings juxtapose psychedelic colors with the sudden emergence of simple, linear structures. These contrasting elements co-exist within the frame in a constant state of exquisite tension. Each piece simultaneously exudes the mysterious aura of the unknown and the quiet tranquility of a scenic landscape, resulting in a unique artistic universe that visitors are sure to enjoy.
