Joseph Lee
Joseph Lee is a Korean-American actor and contemporary artist based in Los Angeles. As an artist, Lee primarily paints portraits in which colorful, abstract strokes suggestively conceal the faces of his subjects. Lee explores and expresses the emotions that reside in the person through segmented brushstrokes, color choices, and volume, and in this exhibition explores new human perspectives on and off paths through the natural world.
As an actor, Lee’s credits include the 2018 Sundance Award-winning film ‘Searching’, the much-talked-about series ‘Beef’, which premiered on Netflix in 2023 and was nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, and the popular Paramount+ sci-fi series ‘Star Trek: Picard’ (Season 3).
The exhibition will feature new paintings from Lee, and limited-edition items created especially for the ‘Pleasure in the Pathless Woods’ exhibition will be available for purchase.
