The Contemporary Japanese Photograph has been held since 2002 to foster a creative spirit for discovering the potential of photography and moving images, finding promising artists, and developing new creative activities. The 20th in this series introduces the experiments of five up-and-coming artists. This exhibition's key theme is Leap before you look.

Tokyo Photographic Art Museum is one of the few museums in the world that specializes in photography and video, with three exhibition halls featuring thematically selected exhibitions from its collection of 36,274 works (as of March 31, 2021), including rare works, and special exhibitions that introduce outstanding works from Japan and abroad from unique perspectives. In the hall on the first floor, high quality films are screened under the theme of art and humanity.
