Mizuho Takasu
Takasu creates jewellery such as necklaces and rings, as well as small boxes and art pieces, drawing inspiration from lace and frills. By abstracting the delicate lines and open spaces of lace and translating them into the soft forms made possible by lost-wax casting, Takasu creates metal works that feel light and almost organic. Lines emerge in the light, casting subtle shadows into the spaces between them.
