Poisons are generally understood as substances that harm organisms, including humans. However, among poisons, there are substances that not only harm but also have medicinal effects. Natural substances that affect living organisms in some way are classified as medicines when they benefit humans and as poisons when they have negative effects. This concept was created by humans to understand and utilize the diverse and complex natural world. Even substances beneficial to the human body can become toxic if taken in excess. Furthermore, toxicity varies depending on the sensitivity of individuals, as seen in allergic reactions.

This exhibition thoroughly explores poisons found everywhere in the natural world, including animals, plants, fungi, minerals, and artificial toxins. Specialists from various fields such as zoology, botany, geology, anthropology, and engineering will provide explanations from multiple perspectives.
