WHAT Museum is pleased to present a special exhibition featuring works from the Ryutaro Takahashi Collection. The Ryutaro Takahashi Collection is a contemporary art collection established in 1997 by psychiatrist Ryutaro Takahashi, one of Japan's foremost art collectors, which currently owns over 3,000 works. This exhibition explores what contemporary artists have discovered in traditional Japanese culture and art and how they have sublimated it into their own expression.
