We are pleased to present a solo exhibition by ceramic artist Satoshi Takaku, who has devoted himself exclusively to the creation of white porcelain vessels. Having studied under Taizo Kuroda and grounded in solid technique on the potter's wheel, Takaku has spent many years working with white porcelain. His pieces are marked by clean, refined forms stripped of excess, conveying both a dignified presence and the gentle warmth unique to handmade work. This exhibition presents a range of white porcelain pieces, from everyday tableware that can be used without hesitation, to special pieces suited for entertaining on important occasions. Takaku's white vessels combine practical usability as tableware with a sculptural beauty that draws the eye even when empty. We invite you to experience both qualities in person at the exhibition.
