This group exhibition, the first of the Seika Artist File series, introduces graduates and faculty members of Kyoto Seika University.
Opened in February 2022, the gallery features a spacious and unique exhibition space with large glass windows that bring in the outside scenery. The name "Terra-S" is a combination of the Latin word “terra" meaning "soil, earth, or globe," and the letter “s” for “Seika."
This first exhibition of "Seika Artist File" focuses on plants and animals (living creatures) that live in "terra" (earth) and introduces seven artists who use them as motifs. The featured artists are Yoriyuki Ikegami, Hajime Imamura, Yasunori Kinukawa, Jusmin Noda, Misa Funai, Mirocomachiko, and Masako Yasuki.
