Artists

Etsuko Sonobe, Kao Kanamori, Yoshishige Watanabe, Yukiko Nagai
Shared Garden brings together the work of four women artists and creators in an exhibition presented in two parts. In the first part, Etsuko Sonobe creates jewelry, Yoshishige Watanabe brings the space to life through papercut art and Kao Kanamori weaves their works together with words. Like one person planting a flower beside another’s, works made with different materials and techniques grow alongside one another, gradually coming together to tell a story of their own. In the second part, flowers drawn by Watanabe are transformed into mosaics by Yukiko Nagai, creating an entirely new landscape. The garden takes on a different form with each part of the exhibition.
