Shingo Francis "Exploring Color and Space"

Chigasaki City Museum of Art
Until Jun 9

Artists

Shingo Francis
Francis Shingo captivates people with exceptional colors and receives high praise worldwide. His renowned "Interference" series, characterized by countless particles in the pigments interfering with light, invites people into a constantly changing color space, altering its expression based on the viewing angle and light reflection.

This exhibition introduces works from the early pieces to the latest creations, including the "Blue's Silence" series, painted entirely in blue, the "Infinite Space" series that evokes endless space, and the "Daily Drawing" series depicting vibrant colors and brush movements amid the restrictive circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.
