Shizu Designs
An exhibition by Shizu Designs, a mother-daughter unit from California. Using traditional Japanese basket weaving techniques and decorative knots on stones collected from the California and Oregon coasts, the works convey an ethereal atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The decorative knots are woven in 17 different ways to enhance the stone's color and shape.
