Tadanori Yokoo "My Black Holes"

Ginza Graphic Gallery

Tadanori Yokoo
This exhibition will focus on the main reason for Tadanori Yokoo's election to the Japan Art Academy: "Design 43 years ago (the 1960s-80s), when he expanded his activities into various fields such as literature, theater, music, film, fashion, etc." The exhibition will focus, however, on posters of finished products. The subject, however, is not finished posters or books, but the rough sketches, idea notebooks, and drawings that make up the works. Drawings, original drawings, and collages as elements of expression.

The exhibition space, lined with sketches, original drawings, prints, etc., which will be exhibited on a large scale this time, evokes the warmth of Yokoo's hands and promises viewers a physical, rather than a mental, experience.
