Toctoc: First Japan Exhibition

Toctoc
This exhibition celebrates the first visit to Japan by Toctoc, a French street artist based in Paris. Born in 1991, Toctoc reimagines famous paintings, historical figures and popular culture from films and comics with a distinctive sense of humour. Through Duduss, a signature character and the artist’s alter ego, familiar images take on new stories, blending a love of art history with French wit and a desire to make people smile. The exhibition brings together a playful mix of classical art and contemporary pop culture.
