Artists

Wendelien Van Oldenborgh
The exhibition is the first solo presentation in Japan of the Dutch artist Wendelien van Oldenborgh. The exhibition features selected works made since the 2000s and a new work produced for this occasion.

Throughout her artistic practice, van Oldenborgh has been exploring cinema as both form and a method of production that enables collective dialogue. Her work (re)visits cultural and historical events, materials, and places, and involves other individuals in their production, thereby capturing the articulation and negotiation of subjectivities. Presented in site-specifically designed settings and installations, the work invites its audiences into their dynamics and polyphonies.
